 Pffffff, Smile Sunday just begon. And I didn't see any reason to smile at first today. It is raining. And I have heard it will keep on raining........ all day!!
Before I had heard on the news that the last half year has been the WETTEST  since they have started measuring it!!!!!
Climate change ...... global warming ..... warmer and less rain ...... Tell that to the weather Gods here!!! They haven't found out yet.
As long as it keeps on raining and raining and raining I don't see a good reason to smile.
About that climage change, let me tell you something. Of course humans are a bit responsible for climate change as well. It would have been different when there wouldn't have been 7,888 Billion people on the planet. All wanting to get heated, having a car and all sorts of things what causes pollution and climate change. That is just a fact.
But today it is presented that as if one stops RIGHT NOW the changes will stop.  It won't get any worse.
And that is UTTER NONSENSE !!!!
For the earth climate has changed already SO MANY TIMES in the time it is there ( give or take 5 billion years) Landmasses changed. First example, the Sinai desert. Mycompanions were there. Seashells in the middle of the desert. At a place not exactly at sea level or  close to the sea. Why are seashells there? Because it once was the bottom of the sea.
Second. Now I am in the Netherlands. they are called the Netherlands because the biggest part is below sealevel, in what they call a temperate climate zone. Big parts of the land was covered once with peat ( and there's still) Now that peat consists of TROPICAL plants !!! Plants that once grew above sea level, not below !!
How can that be? Humans?  
Nope. Eart climate has changed over and over again. Ice ages (multiple) and HOT periods. Hot and dry. In times there were no factories and cars and combustion liquids and 8 BILLION people ....... it just happened. The Earth is not static.
All this doesn't mean that one should go on polluting the earth and breeding another 8 BILLION, but it is nonsens to use that as a reason the climate is changing and to STOP the change of the climate. For I have bad news,it will change anyhow !!!
I think humans can better coop with those changes when there are not too many. Then less disasers with lots of casualties will happen. That seems a good enough reason for me.
Remember, nature has it own way of regulating things. Look at what happened to most  dinosaurs.
Pandemics for example, and other illnesses what were hardly there before. War, that is another example. Just put a few white mice in a cage, everything seems okay. untill they get more ..... and more ..... and more ..... they start fighting and even eating eachother. That's nature.
Sterility, that is also something what can happen then. One of the more  'Humane'  solutions I think. It will be a feast when a rare newborne may be welcomed to our planet. It is not self evident anymore. The moment will come one starts to appreciate seeing another human.
Can you imagine?
One can only hope, when such a (ideal) situation has arrived that one doesn't make the same mistakes all over again. For that also wouldn't be a first time.
- But there's also some good news what makes me smile again! THE DOLL COMMUNITY AT MASTODON IS GROWING FAST !!!!!
